New Mascot!!!

Shafter High was in need of a new mascot after the old one was tattered and ready to retire. We are proud to introduce our new and improved mascot based on General Shafter, which our town and school are named after. This new mascot was custom made and designed with our students in mind.

Thank you to Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Maldonado and Mrs. Labrentz for bringing this project to life.

Get ready for some General Spirit!! If you see him around campus, games or events be sure to say HI and take a picture and use #GeneralMascot on Twitter!
